I have forgotten my login details or lost my device

You can reset your signature password, if you forgot it.
You will receive a one-time password via RSa-letter at your primary residence and with it, you can designate a new password. 

If you have an active link with the "ID Austria" app, you can complete this process directly in the app: You can receive a RSa-letter electronically and immediately.

I forgot my user name

If you forgot your user name, but have a mobile telephone number associated with your account, you can view your user name by entering the mobile telephone number and your signature password.
If you do not have a mobile telephone number associated with your account, please contact the Service Center.

I lost my device, but have another authentification factor (e.g., saved mobile telephone number)

If you lost your mobile phone, but have your mobile telephone number associated with your account and you have access to SMS sent to this device, you can enter your user name and signature password and request a TAN via SMS to link a new device.

Note: If your ID Austria was migrated from Handy-Signatur, the user name is your mobile telephone number.

I lost my device and do not have another authentification factor (e.g., mobile telephone number associated with my account)

If you lost your mobile phone and your mobile telephone number is not linked to your account (e.g., change of phone number, revocation), and you do not have an additional authentification factor (which could be link in the "ID Austria" app or another device that is linked to ID Austria), a new ID Austria registration is required.
